As the grandchild of Holocaust survivors who established their home in West Hartford, Jennifer has witnessed the transformative power of quality education firsthand. After graduating from UConn Law, she and her husband chose to settle in West Hartford, where they are raising their three daughters and two spirited orange cats. With two of her children attending Whiting Lane Elementary and the youngest starting kindergarten this fall, Jennifer has a personal stake in the success of the educational system.

Professionally, Jennifer has transitioned from practicing law to a role in Government Affairs at Neurocrine, a biopharmaceutical company. This background highlights her adaptability and willingness to embrace new challenges—qualities vital for effective public service. Her legal expertise and experience in government relations have sharpened her skills in analyzing complex issues, building consensus, and advocating for positive change.

Jennifer believes this is a pivotal moment for West Hartford, especially as her children enter school and the community confronts significant educational challenges and opportunities. She is committed to ensuring that local schools continue to be bastions of excellence, inclusion, and innovation.
