Tiffani McGinnis
Town Council

Tiffani McGinnis was appointed to Town Council in March 2023 to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Leon Davidoff. She was elected to her first term in November of that year.

 

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Tiffani moved to Connecticut from Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 2015. She is a graduate of Tennessee State University with a degree in Health Care Administration and Planning. Tiffani has been volunteering for political campaigns since 2004 and after moving to Connecticut, began managing political campaigns. She was a volunteer leader for Moms Demand Action in 2018. Tiffani is the founder of New England Women for Biden-Harris and most recently served as treasurer for Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz’s reelection campaign as well as campaign manager for State Senator Derek Slap.

 

Tiffani has three children: Jade, Ryley and Flynn. Prior to enrolling at UConn, Flynn attended King Philip Middle School and Northwest Catholic High School. Tiffani’s daughter, Ryley, graduated from UConn in 2019 and her daughter, Jade, graduated from University of North Carolina-Charlotte in 2015. Tiffani lives with her husband, Matthew, and her dog Quinn.
