In July, when Donald Trump withheld over $50 million in education funding from Connecticut, including more than $393,000 from West Hartford Public Schools, the responses from local Democrats and local Republicans could not have been more different.
Democrats spoke out against cuts, which directly impacted our town.
Republicans, on the other hand, did not denounce these cuts or stand up to Trump.
If local Republicans can't even break with Trump when he directly impacts our community by taking money away from our teachers and students, then the MAGA Republicans on Row B don't deserve your vote or trust.
Early voting is from October 20 to November 2. Election Day is November 4.
